Learning & Development Data Analyst

We are looking for a Learning & Development Data Analyst to join our L&D team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of our learning data and reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for data to help shape reporting processes, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights that support business decisions and continuous improvement across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Data Management & Reporting
* Recording, updating, cleansing, and maintaining accurate L&D data
* Ensuring data consistency and integrity across all L&D systems and processes
* Producing regular reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making
* Developing storyboards and visual reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
* Analysing learning and development data to provide actionable insights
* Identifying opportunities to improve existing reporting and data processes
* Supporting governance and compliance reporting requirements
* Helping to drive data-led improvements across the L&D function
Stakeholder Support
* Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
* Supporting the wider L&D team with accurate and timely data analysis
* Providing clear and meaningful insights to support business decisions
About You
* Previous experience in a data analyst or reporting-focused role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience working with large data sets and data cleansing
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Experience creating dashboards and reports
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to stakeholders
Desirable
* Previous experience within Learning & Development, HR, or Apprenticeships
* Experience using learning management systems or HR systems
* Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools
* Experience identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
