About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure and highways projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of our works — from initial tender through to final account. Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure value for money.
* Prepare and agree interim valuations, variations / compensation events, and final accounts.
* Monitor project costs, forecast expenditure, and report on commercial performance through management of monthly CVRs.
* Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and manage change and risk appropriately.
* Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure or highways industry, ideally with experience in tarmac surfacing or civils and drainage projects.
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial best practices.
* Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage, but not essential.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Self‑driven, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
