Hays are working in conjunction with an education setting who are looking for a motivated and confident Work Placement Co‑ordinator to join their outstandingmunity. You will be responsible for arranging and monitoring meaningful industry placements for students on T Levels, transition programmes and other study pathways, ensuring each opportunity is safe, well-matched and contributes positively to learners’ development.
This is a one-year fixed-term maternity cover role starting January 2026. The post is full time (37 hours per week, term time only). On successfulpletion of the contract, you will receive an additional 10% of your actual annual salary.
Your new role
1. Proactively engage with new and existing employers to secure high quality placements.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with learners, employers and curriculum staff.
3. Arrange tailored support for students with SEND/LLDD needs to access suitable placements.
4. Monitor and record student progress through visits, reviews and accurate systems.
5. Liaise with course leaders to feedback on workplace skills and behaviours.
6. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are fully adhered to at placement sites.
7. Provideprehensive administrative support and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
9. Experience of employer engagement, sales or service promotion.
10. Ideally, experience of academic placement and organising events.
11. Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills and a confidentmunicator
13. Full driving licence and access to transport.
