As Head of Programme Delivery, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of complex automated manufacturing systems from installation, commissioning and validation through to field service and ongoing client success. This newly created, customer-facing leadership role offers significant scope to shape strategy, grow capability, and make a measurable impact on the accessibility of life-changing treatments.

Its solution is a complex robotic automation system capable of producing cell therapies more efficiently and at scale dramatically reducing manufacturing costs and making these therapies a viable option for cancer patients worldwide.
The Role
Following rapid commercialisation, the company is now seeking a senior leader to shape and scale its delivery operations.
As Head of Programme Delivery, you will oversee the deployment, commissioning and lifecycle support of advanced automated manufacturing systems for leading global biopharma clients. You will build and maintain key customer relationships and ensure delivery meets the company’s highest standards.
This strategic role is part of the senior management team and reports directly to the COO.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end customer delivery strategy, from design and build through to installation, validation, training and handover.
* Build, develop and inspire a high-performing team across project management, commissioning and field service.
* Oversee complex, multi-stakeholder delivery programmes, ensuring excellence in governance, risk management and communication.
* Act as the senior point of contact for programme delivery, drawing on your ability to build trusted relationships with major global partners.
* Champion the customer voice, driving continuous improvement in delivery quality and reliability.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Significant experience as a technical leader delivering complex systems into regulated manufacturing environments (GMP/biopharma preferred).
* Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field (BSc/MSc).
* PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent programme management qualification.
* Proven track record delivering high-CAPEX automated systems in regulated sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and major customer organisations.
* Strong leadership credentials with experience building high-performing teams.
* Deep understanding of system integration, validation and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
* Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
