Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to join a successful and growing North Bristol-based business of around 50 employees. This is a stand-alone role with real variety and autonomy, supporting a close-knit leadership team and workforce across all aspects of HR.
You’ll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment, onboarding, and performance management through to employee relations, development, and engagement. The role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on while also shaping and improving people processes as the business continues to evolve.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
* Manage recruitment and onboarding activities.
* Lead on employee relations, policies, and compliance.
* Oversee performance management and learning initiatives.
* Drive engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives.
* Support payroll and benefits administration in conjunction with Finance.
* Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organisational development.
About you
* Experienced HR generalist, ideally with a background in retail, manufacturing, or B2B environments.
* Confident operating autonomously in a stand-alone role.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Pragmatic, approachable, and commercially minded.
