About the role of Estimator
We are looking for a mid-level Estimator to join the business, based in the City of London office 5 days a week. We work across the Commercial, Health, Hotels, Hospitality, Defence and Data Centre sectors, on projects valued between £5k up to £400m+. 85% of our work is repeat work from repeat clients, and we have a strong financial background/base being a National Contractor, with an annual revenue of £3bn+.
As Estimator, you must be able to tender £100k - £5m projects with minimal assistance, with experience in CAT A & CAT B Fit Out. We are looking for someone who will fit well into our team, we have a very friendly, positive environment - if you think this could be you, reach out today!
Responsibilities for Estimator
Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and scope of works
Prepare detailed cost estimates & bills of quantities (BOQs) for fit out works
Attend pre tender meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Lead or support tender submissions, ensuring all commercial & technical requirements are met
Build & maintain strong relationships with supply chain partners
Develop preliminary cost plans and update them as design evolves
Identify commercial risks & opportunities in tenders & pricing
Collaborate closely with Commercial Managers, Project Managers & Design teams
Lead or support the handover
Requirements for Estimator
Minimum 5 years experience in Estimating
Fit Out background, experience in CAT A & CAT B Fit Out
Experience tendering £100k - £5m projects
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Team player
