We are working with a leading UK engineering services provider that delivers innovative and sustainable solutions across the water, energy, and infrastructure sectors. The company is known for its practical, low-carbon approach and has a strong track record of successfully delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects. Its teams provide full design, construction, and operational support across mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineering disciplines, helping clients achieve cost-effective and reliable solutions.
As a Project Engineer, you will be integral to the planning, design, and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. This role combines office-based engineering tasks with regular site visits, allowing you to oversee project progress, conduct surveys, and ensure work meets both technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include:
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project planning, design, and execution.
Contribute to the development of technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
Manage procurement and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and progress reviews, ensuring quality and compliance.
Assist with project handover, testing, and commissioning, ensuring documentation and safety requirements are met.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical or project engineering, ideally within the UK water sector.
Hands-on experience in delivering multi-disciplinary MEICA or similar engineering projects.
Familiarity with UK site safety regulations, CDM requirements, and industry standards.
Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar software advantageous.
