Title: Senior Fundraising Manager
Where: Oxford/60% home
Salary: £39,000-£44,000
Hours: Up to 37.5hrs a week, working pattern negotiable
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising, you will take the lead on operationalising fundraising plans across a range of key activities. As an experienced fundraiser and line manager, your proactive, collaborative and practical approach will oversee the delivery of the individual giving, legacy, in memory and fundraising events income streams, achieving agreed income targets and exploring
new activities and opportunities. With your three direct reports, you will be responsible for the development and management of budgets, plans, stewardship, reporting and evaluations for the above income streams.
Responsbilities to include:
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to translate the new strategy into an actionable operational plan for the Core Fundraising Team, that maximises
* fundraising income and ROl.
* Lead and inspire your three direct reports and the wider fundraising team to achieve their best, ensuring that each team member has a clear understanding of their role in delivering the charity strategy and generating income.
* Provide oversight and strategic vision for the full supporter journey for Events, Individual Giving, Legacy and In Mem, with a focus on long-term supporter engagement, repeat giving and outstanding supporter experiences.
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to deliver the charity's strategy for increasing hospital-focused fundraising, initially through department-focused hospital sprints.
* With the IG Officer, oversee the Individual Giving Programme, providing guidance and support to maximise the income generated through campaigns
* and appeals, and onward conversion journeys.
* Develop a new regular giving proposition, from concept through to launch and integration into our supporter conversion journey.
* Maximising uptake and retention, and working with the Individual Giving Officer on annual cash to committed and upgrade campaigns.
* With the Legacy & In Mem Officer, oversee the in memory income stream, supporting the development of new products and giving routes, to maximise income and conversion to other income streams.
Person specification to include:
* Demonstrable track-record of achieving significant fundraising targets, across a variety of income streams, gained over a number of years.
* Experience of line-managing a team to deliver organizational goals.
* Experience of building successful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience of developing and operating successful activities to recruit, engage, inspire and retain supporters.
* Confident developing, monitoring and reporting on fundraising budgets, including income and expenditure.
* Excellent knowledge of fundraising regulations and compliance, including data protection, privacy and security, GDPR, the Code of Practice.
* High standard of IT literacy, including Word, Excel, Outlook and using databases to maintain accurate supporter records and run reports to monitor activity and income.
