What you’ll be doing:
* Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
* Managing compliance to processes while bringing passion and flair for great shopkeeping and customer service.
* Ensuring every customer gets the food they want, helping us be the first choice for food.
* People management, including performance management, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
* Occasionally taking overall responsibility for store operations, providing direction and support to colleagues to deliver excellent service.
What makes a great food manager:
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team to do the same.
* Ability to meet KPIs and performance indicators.
* Experience managing disciplinary, performance, and employee relations issues.
* Leadership skills to manage operations independently in the absence of senior management.
