Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for an exciting new role in a dynamic creative agency?

Have you got an interest in marketing or design and looking for a new role that will combine people skills with project management? We are looking for an experienced marketer to join the team as an Account Manager; ideally with digital marketing experience and or an agency background (although not essential).

You will have a good understanding of the principles of marketing, and ideally experience in marketing strategy and delivery.

It's a great time to join, with some exciting new projects on the horizon as well as nurturing our current portfolio of clients. The role is based at our office in Chelmsford.

We are very accessible from all areas of London and the East of England.

Responsibilities of an Account Manager:


• Day-to-day contact with key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Managing all creative and marketing projects in line with their briefs and requirements


• Lead and mentor account managers and other team members, providing guidance and support


• Identify sales and revenue growth opportunities


• Brand guardianship for all your accounts. Working closely with the studio, you will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency and quality is achieved across all our projects


• Working closely with clients and the Account Director to create strong marketing strategies and proposals for future projects


• Updating CMS/websites and keeping track of the projects through our project management software


• Creating creative briefs and liaising with the studio on amends to projects. You will manage this through and back to the client for agreed deadlines


• Taking briefs from clients and attending weekly meetings

The person:


• Previous experience in a customer-facing role and are confident liaising with clients and building strong relationships with both them and the WAF team


• Have a good understanding of the core principles of marketing. Digital marketing experience of delivering website projects, SEO, analytics and social media is an advantage


• You will be happy to learn on the job and be proactive in the way you work and your ideas. We love supporting those who are driven and, as a creative agency, welcome all ideas to ensure we are continuously evolving


• Confident communicating with clients in person, on the phone and via email


• Articulate and numerate. The role will involve some simple copywriting, writing creative briefs and communication with our clients


• Organised. The role of an Account Manager involves project management and will be required to handle multiple projects at one time

•Be able to handle 'happy pressure' – no two days are the same and it is a very quick and fast-paced environment


• You will love the idea of being involved with creative discussions and brainstorms – and not afraid to bring your ideas to the table.

Requirements:

Educated to degree level or equivalent (ideally in marketing, business, psychology or another creative discipline) or relevant work experience within a marketing role/marketing agency.

Previous account management experience ideal for an AM role. However, if you are an experienced marketer wanting to try agency-side, this knowledge and experience will also be key so this is not essential.
