Were looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Dawsongroup EMC division in Glasgow. Youll take charge of developing relationships and securing both short and long-term rentals for our municipal and warehouse cleaning equipment across your region.
* Build and maintain a strong customer base within local authorities and commercial sectors.
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities through research, networking, and proactive outreach.
* Collaborate with sales colleagues and branch teams to ensure maximum equipment utilisation and service quality.
* Manage tenders, proposals, and customer visits to secure repeat and new rental contracts.
* Deliver accurate reporting and administration to keep your regions performance on track.
About You
Youre a confident, relationship-driven salesperson who understands how to close a deal and build lasting partnerships. Youll bring energy, initiative, and integrity to everything you do.
1. Proven experience in sales with a record of achieving targets.
2. Skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
3. Strong understanding of the municipal or plant hire sector (advantageous but not essential).
4. Able to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
5. Full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
