Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager
Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Location: Tuscany Park, Wakefield.

Essential Ingredients
Part qualified studying towards CIMA or equivalent
Budget Management experience
Variance analysis experience
Able to deputise and work with the operations site leadership team as required, with the ability to roll your sleeves up and get involved across the site as a trusted adviser
A passion for data with the ability to interpret results, clearly communicating and ensuring understanding of both finance and non-finance colleagues
Proficient in Excel, working with spreadsheets and reporting
Comfortable and confident to make effective business decisions
The Recipe
Working alongside the Operations Finance Manager, you will have good knowledge and understanding of management accounting. By translating financial performance to non-financial colleagues within Manufacturing and Distribution, you will provide actionable insight to support decisions and keep performance on track.
You’ll be our finance expert in Tuscany and be involved in managing site finances, capital spend, forecasting, budgeting and spend tracking. As part of the wider operations finance team, you will gain experience of working with colleagues from a network of bakeries and depots, provide support on national projects and step in as required for your peers.
Continuous improvement is championed both personally as you progress your financial qualification and professionally through efficiencies in financial processes. Crucially, you will be using your excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business.
