Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Haematology day unit at RGH as a Registered Nurse. We seek a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated individual interested in Haematology/Cancer care, keen to work within this service. The Haematology directorate includes day case units at both Royal Gwent and Nevill Hall Hospital, with an 11-bed inpatient ward at Llanfrechfa Grange.
The primary base is the Haematology day unit at Royal Gwent Hospital, with service coverage needed at 2/4 Haematology units at Nevill Hall Hospital. We welcome highly motivated, skilled, knowledgeable, and dynamic individuals with excellent caring and communication skills to apply.
Main duties of the job
* Administering SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) for patients with haematological cancers. All training provided.
* Providing supplementary treatment for Haematology patients, including blood products.
* Supporting colleagues within a small team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
