The Opportunity
We are supporting a fast-growing Independent Connection Provider delivering complex HV / LV connection projects across the UK. As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of schemes from design approval through to energisation, working alongside a highly skilled team of engineers and subcontractors.
This is a chance to step into a senior delivery role where your knowledge of DNO / ICP processes and HV project management will directly shape the success of multi-million-pound infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of HV connection projects (11kV–132kV).
* Coordinate with DNOs / IDNOs, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
* Oversee site activities, RAMS, permits, and project documentation.
* Manage programme, costs, and risk — ensuring compliance with NERS, ENA G81, and adoption standards.
* Lead client progress meetings, chair safety reviews, and report on performance.
* Where authorised, undertake SAP duties (switching, safety documents, energisation).
About You
* Proven background delivering HV / LV infrastructure or utility connection projects.
* Experience within an ICP, DNO / IDNO, or utility contractor.
* Ideally hold Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status at 11kV / 33kV (132kV desirable) – OR strong project management experience coordinating alongside SAPs.
* Solid grasp of safe systems of work, RAMS, CDM, and industry compliance.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.
* HNC / HND or Degree in Electrical / Construction Management (preferred).
