Schedule & Hours
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with a minimum of 12 hours available. Availability windows are listed below. You will receive three weeks’ notice of exact shifts.

* Tue 18:00‑22:00
* Fri 18:30‑22:00
* Sat 18:00‑22:00
About the Role
As the face of Tesco on the road, you deliver customers’ shopping trips across Inverness. The role is more than driving: it’s about delivering great service with a smile.
Responsibilities
* Ensure van and trays are clean and tidy.
* Keep the back yard clean, tidy, and clear of rubbish, picking up litter where seen.
* Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
* Load the van as required, checking roadworthiness.
* Talk to customers about order changes, substitutions, and offer refunds for issues.
* Take care of products and deliveries as if they were my own.
* Explain to customers that substitutions are free of extra charge.
* Deliver during the customer’s time slot.
* Call customers before arriving if early.
* Call store/centre if running 30 minutes late.
Requirements
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
* Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues.
* Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs.
* Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.
* Share ideas with manager and colleagues for improvement.
* A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
