We’re looking for a talented individual to join our RM team to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end merchant experience for our mid‑to‑enterprise level clients, with a particular focus on our Travel vertical (airlines, experiences & online travel agents).
What you’ll be doing
* Champion a merchant‑first mindset, consistently ensuring that merchant needs shape strategic and commercial decisions.
* Lead monthly‑service reviews & quarterly business reviews for your designated accounts, ensuring your merchant is getting the most out of their partnership with APEXX.
* Act as the go-to point of contact within APEXX, advocating for the merchant internally and serving as an escalation point when things don’t go as planned, while also being an ambassador for APEXX.
* Manage contract renewals and commercial negotiations in partnership with the Head of Relationship Management & CCO.
* Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities – for example: fraud solutions.
* Adopt a consultative approach to advise and guide our merchants on all things payments, helping them achieve their own goals and objectives.
* Partner with our Customer Experience team to ensure merchant onboarding & go‑live is smooth.
* Collaborate with wider internal teams as required to enhance the quality of the customer lifecycle and realise ApExxx’s ambition of being the world’s most merchant‑centric payments provider.
About you
* You bring proven experience in Account Management and/or Customer Success within the payments industry.
* You’re familiar with the Travel and Airline sectors and the key players shaping them.
* You understand how to win over enterprise clients and confidently influence senior leadership, including C‑Suite stakeholders. You have the ability to upsell/cross‑sell and offer a seamless contract renewal experience.
* You’re curious, proactive, self‑motivated, and thrive in fast‑paced environments with competing priorities.
* You manage stakeholder communication with clarity and attention to detail.
* You understand the numbers: you know the metrics that matter and how to drive adoption, renewals, and long‑term customer success.
