We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stafford, a category C Prison located in Staffordshire.
HMP Stafford has a capacity of 741 males.
Hours
* This role is 37.5 hours per week
* Monday - Sunday service
* 7pm - 7.30am
* 4 week rolling rota
Please keep in mind as anight nurse there will be arequirement to do a day shift on rotation for ongoing professional development and support.
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary between £34,428 – £41,559 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities
As a Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary:
* You will be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Stafford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care
* Be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency
* Duties to include IV administration of medication, administration of controlled drugs, palliative care including syringe drivers, managing complex patients working alongside a paramedic in response to attending emergencies.
