Job Description
Our client BAE Systems, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in Glascoed on a contract basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the Land Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing process engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
* Developing and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success within the Defence & Security sector
* Providing technical guidance and support to ensure project deliverables are met
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
* Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in process engineering
* Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Job Requirements:
* Core expertise in Process Engineering
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience in the Defence & Security sector would be beneficial but not essential
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical reports
* Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation processes
* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
