Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient warehouse operations for our eCommerce division and upholding our commitment to excellent customer service. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in managing warehouse activities and leading a dedicated team.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 4.30pm (1 hour unpaid break)
25 Saturdays - 8.00am to 12.00pm
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Manage and train warehouse staff to optimise performance and productivity.
* Ensure that all outgoing web orders are accurately picked, packed and dispatched in a timely manner
* Liaising with the Branch Manager to ensure stock levels are always sufficient to fulfill orders
* Help to implement a warehouse management systems for inventory control and reporting.
* Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
* Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.
* Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs effectively.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
* Strong knowledge of materials handling and logistics processes.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) useful but not essential.
* Excellent team leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to implement process improvements effectively.
* Experience with forklift operation is essential (Counterbalance).
