S&H are exclusively partnering with a leading global retailer/leisure business. The business is seeking a high quality corporate lawyer to join its in-house team in a key Senior Legal Counsel role, supporting the Group General Counsel. This is an exciting and varied position.
The role
A business facing in-house role at a top tier company, with a balance of business partnering and advising stakeholders on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. Secondary responsibilities of the position are broader commercial work and the chance to diversity experience. The role can be broken down as follows:
* Supporting the General Counsel and senior stakeholders on a variety of Corporate matters:
* Advising on share and asset acquisitions, JVs, corporate restructurings.
* True business partnering with a variety of business units.
* Support the business in capital structure and corporate financing.
* Supporting in corporate governance, compliance and company secretarial matters.
* Broader work including commercial contracts.
About you
* In-house experience gained in a relevant industry.
* Strong academics.
* Law firm trained.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* PQE bracket is 5 years and above. This is a guide only.
