Experienced TA – Reception Class – Sudbury – Start Date 15th June
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Experienced Teaching Assistant to support a small Reception class in a warm and nurturing primary school in Sudbury. This role begins 15th June and will run until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys supporting early learners and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment.
The school is looking for a confident TA with strong communication skills, a caring approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive EYFS team.
📌 CONTRACT DETAILS
1. Location – Sudbury
2. Position – Experienced Reception Teaching Assistant
3. Type of work – Classroom support (EYFS)
4. Start date – 15th June
5. Duration – Until end of academic year
6. Full time/part‑time – Mornings (8:30am – 12pm), Monday-Friday
7. Additional hours – Potential for Fridays to extend to 12pm – 3:30pm
8. Minimum rate of pay – From £50 per day
9. Hours – 8:30am – 12pm (Mon-Fri), with possible extended Friday session
📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
10. Experience supporting children in EYFS or primary settings
11. Understanding of early childhood development and Reception‑age learning
12. Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training (desirable)
13. Relevant TA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
16. Provide two professional child‑related references
