This role sits at the heart of our organisation — strengthening connection, driving engagement, and supporting our transformation journey. You’ll develop a modern, inclusive and insight-led communications strategy that reaches colleagues across services, offices and communities, using a blend of digital and face-to-face approaches.This is an exciting opportunity to influence culture, strengthen employee voice, and help ensure our people feel proud of the difference they make every day.What you'll doLead the internal communications strategy, ensuring our people understand, engage with and are inspired by our mission and values.Partner with leaders to shape authentic, inclusive and consistent communication across Sense.Ensure colleagues feel heard — embedding feedback channels and acting on insight and engagement data.Strengthen our internal brand and narrative, bringing the Sense story to life for colleagues across our workforce.Lead communications for organisational change and transformation programmes, ensuring clarity, empathy and transparency.Enhance and innovate our communication channels, including Teams, intranet, newsletters, vlogs and events.Champion accessible, inclusive and co-produced communication that reflects the diversity and lived experience of our workforce.Track effectiveness and impact through insight, measurement and continuous improvement.About youSignificant internal communications leadership experience in a complex and values-led organisation (charity, health or social care desirable).A track record of shaping culture and engagement through strategic communication.Strong storytelling, writing and visual communication skills.Experience advising senior leaders and supporting organisational change.Confidence designing communications that reach dispersed and frontline teams, including those with limited digital access.Ability to use insight and data to tailor messaging and measure impact.Commitment to inclusion, disability equality and our mission.Curiosity, creativity and a passion for connecting people to purpose.About SenseWe believe that every disabled person should have the opportunity to connect with others and be included in the world.
