Middle School Teacher
Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to support a range of welcoming Middle Schools across the West Northumberland area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys teaching pupils at that pivotal stage between primary and secondary learning.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and teach engaging English lessons across KS2 and KS3, supporting smooth academic transition.
2. Deliver high-quality reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension lessons.
3. Adapt resources to meet a wide range of learner needs and abilities.
4. Create a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
5. Motivate pupils to develop confidence, strong literacy skills, and positive learning habits.
6. Collaborate with school staff and Milk Education to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum.
Requirements:
7. MUST have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role.
8. Experience teaching English within KS2, KS3, or in a Middle School setting.
9. Strong subject knowledge and passion for developing young readers and writers.
10. Effective behaviour management and strong communication skills.
11. Ability to adapt teaching methods for a variety of ages and abilities.
12. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
