As a Head of Partnerships at Zaptec, you'll be a vital part of our sales team, dedicated to identifying and reaching out to new businesses to strengthen Zaptec's growth in the UK.
Your primary focus will be on generating new revenue. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring Zaptec proactively seeks opportunities in both new and existing markets for growth. Your ability to identify key partners and create new business opportunities will be instrumental to our success.
Although you will often be the first point of contact, you will need to work closely with our existing sales team to ensure a smooth customer handover, while embracing our “Win as a team” attitude.
In this role, some of your tasks will include:
* Identify new partners, sales channels, and business opportunities in the UK market for all our products and services.
* Identify stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers for both new and existing partners.
* Understand our partner's needs, present our company, suggest appropriate products/services, and demonstrate our capabilities.
* Develop existing channels by working closely with our sales team.
* Create, maintain, and build your own partner and sales pipeline in our CRM system.
* Follow up and qualify incoming sales leads.
* Monitor relevant public and private tenders in the market.
* Stay updated on industry trends, news from competitors, and our target market.
* Participate in industry networks, trade shows, and conferences.

To thrive as our new Head of Partnerships, we're seeking someone with relevant experience in business development, sales, or similar roles. You should feel comfortable expanding your network and reaching out to new partners through all available channels. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. If you enjoy teamwork and want to contribute to building the best sales organization in the industry, we want to hear from you!
Required skills include:
* Experience in business development, sales, or similar customer-facing roles.
* A proactive, hunter mentality and enthusiasm for sales.
* Ability to thrive on challenges and solve problems effectively.
* Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex matters.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* An interest in new technologies and digital solutions.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
