Under general supervision and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Delivery Assurance Specialist serves as a vital link between Prime Aerospace customers and their supplier base to improve delivery performance by tracking, validating, expediting, and reporting real‑time part delivery status. Incumbents must have solid manufacturing experience with a focus on root‑cause analysis and effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Manage open order report or customer report(s) by analyzing supplier delivery status and commitments, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing mitigation plans to drive continuous improvement and meet customer requirements.
* Track and proactively communicate via Critical Status Updates the flow of critical/priority parts through the supplier’s manufacturing process from receipt of PO, raw material phase, through manufacturing, outside process/sub‑tier, quality, shipping, and delivery to the customer.
* Communicate daily/weekly status updates via Trigo/Customer systems and/or reports.
* Provide onsite support at supplier sites to proactively support on‑time delivery through milestone validation and leveraging of Trigo tools.
* Prepare presentations and lead meetings with customers and suppliers as needed.
* Establish and maintain customer and supplier relationships with key stakeholders.
* Escalate observations or concerns to Trigo Management.
* Identify opportunities for additional Trigo services and/or support to suppliers and customers.
* Ensure the timely submittal of all required internal/external deliverables.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Experience working on process‑improvement teams; Six Sigma certification is preferred.
* Fluent in English – reading and writing required.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel 2010 intermediate skills required).
* Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong independent decision‑making, excellent analytical skills, and professional judgment.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to ensure data accuracy, understand and apply policies and procedures, prioritize and elevate matters to supervisor, maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion with sensitive information, and establish effective working relationships.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Manufacturing experience – 5–10 years, preferably in machine shop or sheet metal.
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in supply‑chain management, engineering, business, quality assurance, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience on process‑improvement teams or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
* Any combination of education and experience may be considered.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Reliable transportation – must have a current/active driver’s license.
* UK citizenship required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Incumbents must perform work efficiently, effectively, and timely with minimal direction. Physical activity may include light lifting, sitting for prolonged periods, standing, walking (approximately 1–2 miles a day), and occasional driving to suppliers. The role requires handling objects or tools and may involve lifting up to 20 pounds.
Typical office conditions; exposure to moderate to high noise levels. Vision sufficient to read printed documents and computer screens is required.
