SIS are delighted to announce the opening of a new service in Stone, Staffordshire. We have opportunities for Support Workers and Senior Support Workers who can bring a variety of skills to support individuals within a mental‑health supported‑living scheme.

Base pay range
* £300 Joining bonus
* Competitive salary – Support Worker £12.60 per hour
* Competitive salary – Senior Support Worker £27,682 per annum

The Support Worker role
The role of a support worker is extremely rewarding, yet challenging at times. Patience and compassion are key. You’ll work with individuals to understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals and ambitions.
The Senior Support Worker role
Due to the opening of a new service, this position is for an experienced, motivated individual with managerial skills who can assist the service manager in overseeing a complex mental‑health supported‑living scheme. You’ll help to manage a team of support workers, ensuring adequate staffing ratios and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (forensics, mental health, learning disabilities, neuro‑diversity, and EUPD). You will maintain compliance with CQC regulatory standards alongside occupational therapy and positive behavioural support teams.
About the Service
Sherwood House is a new refurbished service comprising 12 one‑bedroom, self‑contained apartments located in Stone’s town centre, close to local amenities and transport links. For the individuals we care for, this may be their first opportunity to live semi‑independently and develop independent living skills. This role offers a chance to improve lives and build a strong team.
