Required from September 2026. 32.5 hours, term time plus 5 days, permanent. St John’s is a very inclusive school with a caring Christian ethos, and you will need to share our passion to provide the very best education and outcomes for our children.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEMH needs in accessing the curriculum
* Understand and respond to children’s individual needs
* Promote communication, engagement, and independence under teacher guidance
* Regulate behaviour positively using agreed strategies
* Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals
We are looking for someone who
* Is passionate about inclusion and supporting vulnerable pupils
* Has experience (or a strong interest) in SEMH and Emotional regulation
* Can build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Is committed to ongoing training and professional development
* Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
