Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Specialising in Behaviour Management)
Location: Fylde Coast
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team after October half term. This role will focus on providing 1:1 support for a pupil in high school, with an emphasis on promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a pupil, helping them to engage with learning and school life.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SENCO to ensure consistent support.
Encourage and model positive behaviour, resilience, and social skills.
Contribute to the wider team by sharing strategies and supporting colleagues.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Have proven experience of working with young people with behavioural needs.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Be able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
Remain calm under pressure and adopt a flexible, solution-focused approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
