We are now seeking an exceptional Head of Finance Business Partnering & Internal Reporting to join our high-performing finance leadership team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence strategic planning, build financial capability across our schools, and help shape a resilient future for the Trust.
About the Role:
As our Head of Finance Business Partnering & Internal Reporting, you will lead our Finance Business Partnering function, ensuring Headteachers, senior leaders and Trustees have the clear, insightful financial information they need to make confident decisions.
You will:
•Lead and inspire a talented team of Finance Business Partners
•Provide meaningful analysis, forward-looking insight and constructive challenge
•Oversee budgeting, forecasting and internal performance reporting across the Trust
•Drive value for money, innovation and sustainable resource planning
•Strengthen financial capability and collaboration across school and One trust Services teams
•Support Trust growth, due diligence, and the onboarding of new schools
•Work closely with the CFO to shape strategic financial plans and deputise when required.
This role calls for an innovative, values-led leader who thrives through collaboration and purposeful partnership and is motivated by delivering excellence for all pupils.
You will be:
•A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong management accounting and performance analysis experience
•A confident communicator, able to translate financial insight into meaningful action, and deliver exemplary customer service to our key clients (schools)
•An experienced business partner, comfortable influencing leaders at all levels
•A compassionate and empowering line-manager passionate about developing others
•Driven by collaboration, curiosity and a desire to make a positive difference.
Experience within education, public sector or multi-site organisations is beneficial, though not essential what matters most is your ability to engage, improve and lead.
