Our Grantham based client is looking for a passionate professional to head up their small Transport division. As the Transport Manager, you will take full ownership of a small fleet of Class 1 and 2 vehicles with a fleet of Vans and have passed your CPC. Duties include: * All vehicles comply with current UK and International Transport regulations in respect of servicing, inspections, tachograph maintenance, Daily Defect Reporting System, Vehicle System checks and that all relevant records are maintained and stored for inspection. * Plan all journeys of deliveries to customers, airports or meeting points, ensuring that sufficient vehicles and drivers are available and appropriate routes are taken. * Investigate all accidents to vehicle and load and keep current with transport H&S regulations. * Ensure that the Company Quality Management System (ISO) operating procedures are adhered to within their area of responsibility. ...
