The role
As Numan continues its commitment to invest in data, we are focused on using commercial analytics to support sustainable growth, make considered decisions about marketing spend, and deepen our understanding of customer groups. This role helps ensure that marketing activity is clearly linked to meaningful business outcomes.
As Senior Marketing Analyst, you will report to the Head of Commercial Analytics and Insights and work within the Data and Analytics team. You will contribute to developing accessible analytical frameworks, improving visibility of data, and offering clear insights that guide business priorities and performance.
You’ll be:
* Translating commercial and marketing aims (such as cost per acquisition and LTV goals) into well‑structured analytical projects and practical roadmaps.
* Helping shape our marketing measurement capabilities so that acquisition, CRM and brand teams can understand how their work influences business performance and revenue.
* Designing and managing marketing effectiveness approaches, including Multi‑Touch Attribution, Marketing Mix Models and experimentation to understand return on investment.
* Carrying out thoughtful explorations of campaign performance across PPC, affiliate and other digital channels to support efficient and purposeful spend.
* Working closely with Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines offer the quality and reliability needed for accurate marketing measurement.
* Acting as a supportive analytics partner for Marketing, Finance and Commercial teams, ensuring insights are clearly connected to wider business outcomes through modelling and careful interpretation.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* Extensive experience in a quantitative commercial or marketing analytics role, ideally within a digital consumer environment.
* Experience developing and maintaining marketing measurement models such as MTA, MMM and LTV.
* A strong understanding of data structures and ETL or ELT pipelines, with experience improving the detail and accuracy of marketing data.
* The ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and approachable way for non‑technical audiences, using data storytelling to guide decisions.
* Experience connecting ad platform data (for example, Google or Meta) with analytics tools such as GA4 or Amplitude for joined‑up performance reporting.
It’s a bonus if you have:
* Experience using SQL for querying and data preparation.
* Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R for statistical analysis, data modelling and automation.
* A grounding in statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, regression and correlation within commercial settings.
* Hands‑on experience with data modelling and dbt.
* Broad commercial awareness with an appreciation for both patient and business impact.
* The ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
