We are an established and rapidly expanding B2B utilities cost saving provider, supporting UK businesses with strategies to manage and reduce their utility costs. After significant scale-up throughout 2025, we now operate from our Head Office in Sunderland, with an additional Manchester office, and remote teams across the UK and Dubai.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales Performance Coach / Sales Trainer with proven experience in the B2B energy sector to develop our people, strengthen capability, and drive the success of our high-performing outbound sales teams.
About the Role
This is a hands-on sales coaching, training, and performance development position covering the entire employee journey—from recruitment and induction through to ongoing coaching, skills refreshers, and motivational development.
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate experience in all three core areas:
* Business energy sales
* B2B sales
* High-volume outbound cold calling

This role suits someone passionate about sales training, sales enablement, people development, sales capability building, and performance coaching within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver sales training programmes, onboarding, induction training, call coaching, and refresher sessions.
* Provide 1:1 coaching, group training, skills development, and continuous performance improvement for outbound sales teams.
* Support the full lifecycle: recruitment, new starter development, early career coaching, and ongoing skills reinforcement.
* Coach team members in B2B energy sales, outbound calling techniques, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Reignite motivation and confidence in employees who need a boost, using a supportive coaching and mentoring approach.
* Build and deliver sales capability and soft-skills training, including communication, resilience, rapport-building, and customer engagement.
* Work closely with Sales Leaders, Team Managers, and L&D to shape development pathways and coaching frameworks.
* Monitor KPIs, call performance, and behavioural trends to identify skills gaps and create targeted development plans.
* Promote a high-performance culture that encourages continuous learning, skill enhancement, and career growth.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience

* Proven experience in business energy sales.
* Successful background in B2B outbound sales.
* Expertise in high-volume outbound cold calling and converting new business.
Key Skills & Attributes
* Strong experience as a Sales Coach, Sales Trainer, Performance Coach, Sales Enablement Specialist, or People Development Lead.
* Excellent communication, listening, and motivational coaching skills.
* Ability to deliver clear, confident, and engaging sales training sessions.
* Skilled in soft-skills coaching, behavioural development, and capability building.
* Empathetic, supportive, and able to adapt coaching style to new starters, experienced consultants, and those needing re-engagement.
* Credibility within the energy sector and a strong understanding of the business utilities market.
* Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple locations and remote teams.

Salary is dependent upon experience and will be amplified with bonus
