About the role
This role is responsible for leading the licensing provision on Far and Beyond projects. You will continuously monitor and advise on best practices whilst liaising with agencies and key stakeholders. This role will be based within the UK, but will work on projects within the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for oversight and management of the licensing of their allocated events in conjunction with senior members of the event management team.
* Ensuring all terms and conditions stated within an events license are adhered to in coordination with the Event/Project Manager.
* Liaises with local authorities, statutory and non-statutory agencies and event suppliers to create and collate necessary event documentation in line with current laws and regulations, including the creation of the Event Management Plan and assorted appendices.
* Organising the application for premises licenses and temporary event notices as needed.
* Oversees and manages key suppliers with responsibility for ensuring the event remains compliant with the licensing objectives.
* Liaison with client and key stakeholders regarding all elements relating to the licensing of the events.
* Attend SAG/JAG meetings alongside other members of the event management team.
* Implementation of event specific and company wide policies onsite and throughout all phases of an events life cycle.
* Overseeing the security schedule and planning in liaison with the Security Manager/Coordinator.
* Working with senior members of the event management team to ensure the appropriate Emergency Plans are in place for their event.
* Liaise with the FAB Health, Safety and Licensing Manager on the development of policies, processes and documentation for use across the company's events.
* Liaison with the host city/town team to assist and advise with the planning and delivery of their responsibilities.
* Oversight of the liaison between the Event Management Team and local residents throughout all phases of an event.
* Remain up to date with changes in relevant licensing legislation and guidance.
* Organisation and attendance at pre-event and onsite meetings.
* Ensuring bars, traders and sponsors activities are compliant with the contract established between themselves and the event.
* Budget management and tracking relating to licensable elements of the events.
* Create key relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal Far and Beyond departments.
* You will act as the Far and Beyond representative on respective projects.
* Demonstrate the capability to thrive with minimal supervision.
* Leverage computer skills and familiarity with Google suite and slack to streamline workflow.
* Employ exceptional organisational skills to orchestrate and coordinate tasks effectively.
* Communicate with and manage a team effectively.
* Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
* At certain times, fulfil other significant roles on projects.
* Directly reports into the Head of Events, but may also take direction from the Managing Director.
About you
Essential
* Familiar with the UK legal framework for events licensing.
* Experience in producing detailed and accurate paperwork to a high standard.
* Be adaptable and have the ability to think quickly and work under pressure.
* Happy to travel and work throughout the UK and overseas as required.
* Excellent communication and administrative skills.
* Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
* Full UK driver’s licence.
* Experience in planning and organisation of live events.
* Experience in liaising and working with event suppliers.
* Experience working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Salary
£50,000 per annum (pro rata)

Location
Working from our London office (central) or Midlands office (Donington) 5 days a week with occasional working from home; but travel as required for projects and meetings.
Working Hours
Generally Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm or 10am – 6pm, and extra hours as needed.
Should you have to go on site, onsite hours vary in length but are generally 8am – 8pm and longer on show days (this can also include weekends).
