Construction Labourer – CSCS Card Required
A construction labourer supports day-to-day site operations and must hold a valid CSCS card to demonstrate knowledge of health, safety, and site best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Site preparation: Setting up work areas, clearing debris, erecting temporary barriers, and assisting with groundwork.

Material handling: Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment safely around the site.

Assisting trades: Supporting skilled workers by providing tools, holding materials, and completing basic tasks under supervision.

Tool and equipment use: Operating hand and power tools and basic site machinery (where trained/certified).

Concrete and earthworks: Mixing, pouring, spreading concrete; digging trenches; compacting and backfilling.

Site maintenance: Keeping work areas tidy, disposing of waste, and ensuring pathways are clear.

Safety compliance: Following all site safety procedures, wearing correct PPE, and reporting hazards—supported by CSCS-level health and safety knowledge.
