About The Role

In this role, you will have specific finance responsibility over four services in the South Coast (Southampton Hospital, Portsmouth Surgical Centre and a UTC co-located on each site). The role will involve developing good working relationships with the operations team across the relevant operating units and supporting the Hospital Directors.
The role will be based at the sites with occasional travel to Head Office in Reading.

What you'll be doing
As Senior Finance Manager you will oversee Southampton, Portsmouth and UTCs.You will develop good working relationships with teams both internally and externally, including local commissioning bodies and NHS Trusts meaning excellent stakeholder management skills are a must.
Supported by a central management accounting team in Reading and with an Assistant Finance Manager reporting directly to you, your focus will be on providing sound financial information, strategy, annual planning and forecasting. You will predominantly be working with the local operational Senior Leadership teams to drive optimum financial performance whilst maintaining excellent patient care, along with having exposure to divisional and group Exec teams.
What we’ll look for in you
You will be/have;
* Qualified accountant – extensive PQE
* Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
* Demonstrable evidence of predictive and forecast modelling, planning and assisting with strategy
* Recent similar experience
* Ability to work in a cross functional/matrix organisation
* Line Management experience
