Sales Marketer

The Role: We are seeking a proactive, sales-focused marketer who thrives on results. You will sit within the marketing team, but work hand-in-hand with our sales and business development teams to generate high-quality leads, support conversion, and ensure every marketing action contributes to the bottom line. This is not a brand awareness role, it is about driving pipeline.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute lead generation campaigns for specific target sectors Write compelling sales copy, emails, LinkedIn messages, and outreach content to support the sales journey Create and refine conversion-focused assets, sales decks, case studies, pitch support, landing pages Collaborate with Sales to understand pain points and refine messaging accordingly Use CRM and automation tools to track, analyse, and report on campaign ROI and lead behaviour Support with webinars, follow-up comms, and campaign nurturing sequences Stay up to date on energy consultancy trends and customer behaviour to shape messaging Requirements: Proven experience in sales-focused marketing, ideally in the energy, utilities, or B2B consultancy sectorsA strong commercial mindset, you focus on outcomes, not just outputExcellent written communication skills, particularly persuasive and concise copyFamiliar with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and marketing automation toolsComfortable analysing data and adjusting campaigns based on what performs Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with sales and marketing Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to commute to Leeds and surrounding areas
Desirable Knowledge of public sector procurement and frameworks Experience with LinkedIn outreach and paid campaign strategy Understanding of how energy savings, NetZero targets, or compliance issues influence purchasing decisions Knowledge of energy services and their value to B2B customers
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and marketing Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and marketing techniques Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel)
