Purpose Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to primary-aged pupils with SEND, including SEMH and autism.
Plan and deliver a creative, differentiated primary curriculum, with a focus on core literacy and numeracy skills.
Provide targeted support to pupils preparing for end of Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs), ensuring accessibility and appropriate scaffolding.
Create a nurturing and structured learning environment that promotes pupil engagement, confidence, and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to meet the holistic needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities: Set high expectations and model excellent teaching practice, adapted to meet individual needs.
Teach a range of primary curriculum subjects, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and SATs preparation.
Create engaging, child-centred lesson plans that align with EHCP targets and personal learning goals.
Track and report pupil progress using formative and summative assessments, including SATs frameworks.
Work closely with the wider team to implement consistent behaviour support strategies.
Differentiate effectively to ensure inclusive access to learning for all pupils.
Maintain accurate records of progress, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns using the schools systems.
Contribute to review meetings, including those related to EHCPs and annual reviews.
Participate in staff CPD, school events, and enrichment activities.
Support the schools values and vision, contributing to a positive and inclusive culture.

What we need from you:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Relevant SEND training or certification
Experience teaching primary-aged pupils with SEND
Experience preparing pupils for KS2 SATs
Working with children with SEMH and/or autism
