Post: Senior Recovery Coach

Ref: REC

Location: Fife Care at Home and Housing Support Service

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: £26, - £28, per annum (salary point 19–23)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

The Senior Recovery Coach role is an exciting opportunity to lead a team to deliver high quality support at our Care at Home and Housing Support Service. Our services provide support to individuals with varying dependency needs related to the degree of their severe and / or enduring mental health.

The aim of the services is to provide recovery focused interventions to individuals with mental health issues and common co-morbidities who have a range of support needs. It aims to seek to maximise individual’s independent living skills, develop their confidence and ability to become active citizens in their community and support them to fulfil their own aspirations and outcomes.

The successful candidate must be able to work with the Service Manager and Team Leader in supporting, mentoring and guiding the team, coordinating the delivery of support across two Locations in Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy. Duties include completing key-working duties and supervising of staff.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual with good leadership and communication skills who has the ability to lead a team of Recovery Coaches and work as part of a team reporting to Team Leader and Service manager. To be part of a rota that includes on calls, sleepovers, weekend working. The candidate ideally should have an SVQ 3 Health & Social Care qualification but this is not essential as we can support you to achieve this.

PVG Scheme Membership, a Right to Work in the UK check and proof of any qualifications declared your application will be required.
