Be among the first 25 applicants. At Lime Trees Vets we have a permanent position for a veterinarian with a feline interest. The role has a heavy emphasis on a feline caseload but you’ll still be expected to work cases with other small animal species. You’ll mainly be based at our Cat Clinic, while also covering shifts at the main hospital site.
We support candidates who are relocating by offering a relocation allowance of up to £5,000. The role offers a well-balanced caseload that includes consults, medical investigations, and surgery. We are seeking someone with a passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.
Shape Your Schedule: Flexibility that works for you – a full‑time role typically involves 40 hours per week, over four days per week, plus our shared Saturday rota (2:10 at the main hospital).
About Us
Lime Trees Vets has aimed to provide the best possible care to all animals under its roof. In 2021 we created our cat‑only practice. Our ISFM Gold, first‑opinion cat clinic is located in the Staffordshire Moorlands and is fully equipped with CR X‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental suite, K‑Laser, and a full lab. We have a CT scanner on site, advanced practitioner‑led referral services in internal medicine, soft tissue, orthopaedics, dermatology, and ECC, and are a host practice for Vets Now out‑of‑hours care. Our team is led by an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine.
We aim to give every consultation a minimum of 20 minutes, allowing ample time for gentle handling and familiarisation with our feline patients. Every aspect of the practice – from cat parks in the waiting room to cat-friendly theatre rooms – has been designed with cats in mind.
