More about your role

Please note: The interviews for this role will take place w/c 15th of December on Microsoft teams.

National travel is apart of this role:

In this role, you'll lead the delivery of a national mediation service that helps resolve neighbourhood disputes and strengthen community relationships. You'll work closely with volunteers, manage caseloads, and ensure mediation is embedded as a trusted resolution method. Drawing on your knowledge of housing and neighbourhood standards in England and Scotland, you'll use your communication and influencing skills to guide people through challenging conversations and find constructive outcomes.

You'll also play a key part in improving customer experiences, making sure our approach is fair, respectful, and effective. Familiarity with data protection and GDPR is important, as you'll be allocating cases based on risk and handling sensitive information with care.

More about you

To be eligible for an interview for this role you must meet majority of the following criteria and demonstrate an understanding of the below in your application.

Mediation Practitioner's Certificate Level 4 or willingness to obtain.

Ability to coordinate and deliver a national mediation service, including managing volunteers and caseloads.

Knowledge of best practice in mediation and dispute resolution.

Strong communication and influencing skills to resolve neighbourhood disputes.

Good understanding of housing issues and neighbourhood standards in England and Scotland.

Experience working with others to drive, influence and embed mediation as a resolution method.

Ability to drive improvements in customer experience.

Familiarity with data protection, GDPR, and case allocation based on risk.
