West Somerset College, part of Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust, is seeking an outstanding classroom teacher with the ability to teach Art and Photography to KS4 and KS5. This will be a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a strong and rapidly growing department, teaching primarily fine art at GCSE level and some art and photography at KS5.

Start Date: 20th April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
Teach primarily Fine Art at GCSE level and some Photography at KS5.
Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Art and Photography.
Inspire students to explore a wide range of artistic media, techniques, and creative processes.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has strong subject knowledge in Fine Art and experience with photography
Is very able in drawing, painting and print-making amongst other fine art practices
Has experience teaching photography and with Photoshop style software, also in using a digital SLR camera
Demonstrates creativity, energy, and a commitment to inclusive education
Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the college
