As an Operations Assistant based in our Blackburn branch, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
2. Handling customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously
3. Working within the warehouse picking and packing customer orders (This will involve manual handling heavy stock boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
4. Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location
5. Driving a van delivering items to our customers (relief cover)
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday -
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
6. Experience in a merchant background
7. A full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
8. Previous warehouse experience
9. Confidence to interact with customers
10. Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic to assist in all areas of the branch
11. Computer literacy
