Location: Melton Primary School, Melton Road, Melton, Woodbridge, IP12 1PG
Contract Dates: 10th November – 15th December 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:45 PM – 6:15 PM (12.5 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)

Afternoon Cleaner – Support a Clean and Safe School Environment
Vertas Group Limited is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join the team at Melton Primary School. This temporary, part-time role supports the school’s cleaning operations during a period of increased demand, ensuring learning spaces remain safe, tidy, and welcoming.

Key Duties:
* Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and other facilities
* Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitising high-contact areas
* Emptying bins and following correct waste disposal procedures
* Adhering to school health & safety standards and cleaning schedules
* Reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the site team

Who We’re Looking For:
* Punctual, trustworthy, and detail-focused
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide references
Requirements
Compliance Requirements:
Due to the school setting, the following are required:
* Enhanced DBS Check with Barred List – current or willing to obtain
* CV and proof of right to work in the UK
* Proof of address and National Insurance number
* 3 years of references (employment or character)
* Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
