About The Programme
The training contract takes three years to complete with full support and access to first‑class tuition centres. If you are AAT Level 4 qualified you may qualify for exemptions; otherwise you will complete the full ACA. Studying alongside a cohort maximises exam success.
Role and Development
The role involves a client‑facing, fast‑paced environment with advisory duties and occasional high‑profile clients. Work ranges from typical year‑end compliance to ad‑hoc advisory and project work. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing management accounts, reconciling key account balances, tailoring presentation for each client
* Assisting and advising clients on accounting systems issues, including software migration
* Agreeing and executing payment runs via online banking platforms
* Preparing VAT and Intrastat returns
* Preparing year‑end financial statements
* Carrying out and reviewing ad‑hoc tasks such as cash flows, budgets, and information for third parties
* Maintaining client relationships and owning projects and tasks as appropriate
* Processing work on Xero and other accounting software
Qualifications
* 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline
* Minimum of 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels (or equivalent) excluding General Studies and AS Levels
* Minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
* AAT qualification is welcomed but not required
