An established and reputable independent firm of accountants in Bradford is looking to recruit an Assistant Audit and Accounts Manager to join its friendly and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or qualified by experience accountant who enjoys variety in their work and wants to work in a supportive environment. About the Role While the role will be primarily focused on accounts preparation and review, it will also involve supporting a small number of audit assignments, offering a well-rounded and engaging workload. You’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Support and lead on audit fieldwork for a small number of clients, ensuring quality and compliance. Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and providing feedback. Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries. Assist partners and managers in delivering high-quality client service and meeting deadlines. What We’re Looking For ACA or ACCA qualified or Qualified by Experience. Practice background, with strong experience in accounts preparation.
