GENERAL OPERATIVE NORMANTON PERMAMENT SALARY £26,434 Our client based in the Normanton area, just off the M62, have an immediate need for a general operative who will be a pivotal team player. The role will be varied, and the right general operative will helpout in all areas of production. Duties include Assist machine operators with material movements and machine changeovers. Provide support with core cutting Carry out FLT duties across the site Assist with maintenance duties as and when required Assist machine operators with job set up Help maintain a clean working environment Ensure all operators have all the materials required for each job This a permanent role for the successful general operative, you will have experience of working in a manufacturing environment and it will help if you already have, and is in date, an FLT license. You will be self motivated with a positive and helpful demeanour, you will be flexible and able to drop one job to help with a more urgent job, but with this comes freedom and you will almost dictate your own daily workload This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern: Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS ( 6am - 6pm ) Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm - 6am ) Week 3 - Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday Nights In return you can expect a starting salary of £26.5kand a whole raft of benefits, holidays, pension etc from day one.
