A professionally registered engineer, possessing a recognised Level 6 qualification (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) in an engineering discipline relevant to the role. Proven leadership ability, focused on creating a collaborative working and learning environment, ensuring NIS values (Respect, Protect, Commit and Inspire) and nuclear safety culture is positively role modelled and upheld.
Role Summary
Actively lead and supervise engineering design teams in related discipline, providing technical direction and oversight in the execution of engineering activities, ensuring a compliant and safe design and achievement of quality standards.
Support the Engineering Manager in the measurement and reporting of engineering activities against cost, schedule, quality and safety.
Support the operations of the engineering portfolio and identify continuous improvement opportunities through the robust challenge of processes and procedures to achieve Excellence in Engineering.
