Senior Trade & Large Holding Reporting

Barclays

Join us at Barclays as a Senior Trade & Large Holding Reporting within the Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations (TTRO) team. You will provide risk management and oversight for Barclays Regulatory Reporting submissions for EMEA regulatory requirements (such as SFTR, EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, and Large Holdings). You will manage regulatory enquiries and regulatory change across EMEA regulations and ensure departmental processes adhere to all requirements. Other related activities include internal compliance verification checks and internal audits.


Key Responsibilities

To be successful as a Senior Trade & Large Holding Reporting, you should have:

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
* In-depth knowledge of SFTR, EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, EMEA or Large Holdings.
* Expertise with DTCC, UnaVista, Regis-TR for Derivatives Reporting.
* Financial services experience.


Other Highly Valued Skills

* Working knowledge of EMEA OTC Derivatives Market – Equities, Credit, FX, Rates and Commodities (5+ years’ experience).
* Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, VBA).
* Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
* Good organisational skills, ability to work unsupervised and set own deadlines.
* Good technical ability and desire to continually develop and build upon that expertise.

This role can be performed from London or Glasgow.


Purpose of the Role

To manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives and compliance with relevant regulators.


Accountabilities

* Identification of trends and opportunities to improve areas and develop new processes and procedures through monitoring and analysis of operation data and performance metrics.
* Management of operations for a business area and promotion of efficient processes, risk management and compliance initiatives to support the bank's operations.
* Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to support business operations and promote alignment with the bank's objectives and SLAs.
* Management of operational professionals and provision of guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality.
* Management and development of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operation functions, utilizing data and technology to support identification of areas that require improvement.
* Compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to the customer experience.
* Creation of a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively and regularly encourage and solicit feedback to ensure people agenda remains focused on the right areas.
* Management of attrition by working closely with HR in implementing retention initiatives for the workforce.
