An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Senior Finance Business Partner to join a growing and ambitious business in Milton Keynes.
This is a highly visible role sitting at the heart of the commercial finance and FP&A function, partnering closely with senior operational stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
The business is looking for a proactive and analytical finance professional with strong financial modelling capability, commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence at senior leadership level.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through robust analysis, forward‑looking insight, and strategic financial planning.
This is a genuine business partnering role with significant exposure across operations, commercial teams, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes across multiple business areas.
* Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision‑making, investment appraisals, and scenario analysis.
* Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge business assumptions.
* Deliver meaningful KPI reporting, variance analysis, and performance commentary to senior leadership.
* Support pricing analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and cost optimisation projects.
* Produce Board‑level reporting packs and presentations.
* Analyse trends, risks, and opportunities to support business growth and profitability.
* Support strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and business cases.
* Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Work closely with the wider finance team to improve data quality, reporting automation, and commercial insight.
Candidate Profile
* Strong experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability is essential.
* Proven ability to build robust models, scenario analysis, and forecasting tools.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
* Confident communicator with experience presenting financial insight to senior management.
* Experience within a fast‑paced, multi‑site, operational, or project‑led environment would be advantageous.
* Power BI or data visualisation experience would be beneficial.
£70,000 to £75,000 basic plus full benefits package to include bonus & company car scheme, Hybrid working - 2days office based in Milton Keynes.
