The Role
The REAP Community Gardener will be responsible for developing the new Glebe Community Garden in Keith. The post is funded for six months (extension subject to more funding).
Candidates must have gardening experience. The role of the REAP Community Gardener will be to take the lead in organising growing sessions and workshops. The aim is to encourage people to grow local food. The candidate must demonstrate ability to plan gardening tasks and run gardening sessions with a particular emphasis on food sustainability. Utilising previous experience in growing, the Community Gardener will work alongside volunteers whom they will also work to recruit, as well as participants. The sessions will be held twice a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
A range of evaluation approaches will be implemented via surveys and feedback.
The successful candidate will also run free workshops and sessions to help individuals learn new skills around growing, harvesting, and composting.

Holidays: 34 days per annum pro rata which includes public holidays
The post will be a fixed term contract for six months
